One of our most significant custom development projects to date went live today. The Bay State Banner is a weekly paper that has served the Boston area's Black community since 1965. The paper's new online presence features a new issue released every week, an editor's blog, event calendar, and other interactive features. 

Executive editor, Howard Manly, writes in the site's first blog post, "Our new Web site will enable us to reach more readers, not only throughout Massachusetts, but across the nation and around the world. It will build on our 43-year track record of providing comprehensive coverage of communities of color throughout the Commonwealth."

The site is already receiving accolades from local commentators. Local blogger Mike Ball writes in today's Harumpher! post, "Mirabile dictu! It’s easy on the eyes. It has article commenting (wake up Herald and Globe) with a WYSIWYG editor that pops up when you click the Add Comment buttons. ... The contents and layout are easy to look at. The article heads are easy to scan. The new top and side menus make navigation freshly simple."
