Mark Barnes tells us why he's selected EditMe as the platform for his new community site for teachers in this latest installment of Spotlight On: Learn It In 5.

Why do you use EditMe?

I use EditMe because it's user-friendly, cost-effective, and ever-evolving interface and the customer support is unparalleled. EditMe offers everything a blog platform or other web host has and far more. I can use it to post blogs, page content, graphics, media, forums and more.

How did you it before using EditMe?

Prior to EditMe, I used a web host that was not user-friendly and too expensive. The tools I had with other web hosts were crude and complex.

What's your favorite thing about EditMe?

Even though I could list a myriad of integrated modules that EditMe offers as favorites, I value the customer service above all else. As owner and primary contributor to Learn it in 5, my visitors and users have come to expect a high level of knowledge and information delivery, along with an easy-to-navigate platform. I know if I need something adjusted that I do not have the aptitude to adjust, the amazing support staff at EditMe will have it adjusted or provide me with the know-how to make changes swiftly and efficiently. I don't think I've ever waited more than 48 hours for a response, and usually it's less than 24. These guys are true pros.

What would make the experience better for you?

It's difficult for me to come up with too much here. The only thing that would improve EditMe would be more notification of impending changes that affect my site. Maybe an e-mail, as I don't always have time to get to the newsletter.

How do you describe EditMe to friends and colleagues?

I tell friends and colleagues that EditMe is the most powerful web host available. I tell them that the customer service is number 1 and the cost is minimal compared to the return on development and hosting. Plus, EditMe is all-inclusive. If you want a site for collaboration, blogging, information delivery, media embedding, commenting or individual users, EditMe has it all. Bottom line, if someone says who should I use for any kind of web site, I say without hesitation, EditMe!
