EditMe is now accepting requests to transfer ClearWiki sites to EditMe. Here's how it works: 

Step 1: Create an EditMe Free Trial (if you haven’t already)

1. Go to https://manage.editme.com/signup.jsp?coupon=trial
2. Follow the instructions to create your EditMe site.
3. Be sure to add billing information so that we can charge the $20 migration fee to your account. Your EditMe site is still free for the first 30 days.

Step 2: Grant EditMe Support access to your ClearWiki Backup File

1. Go to your ClearWiki site and log in as an Administrator.
2. Go to Settings → Manage Users → Add new user
3. Complete the form as follows:

Step 3: Request the migration.

 Email support@editme.com with the following information:

• The address of your new EditMe site (e.g. yourname.editme.com)
• The address of your ClearWiki site (e.g. yourname.clearwiki.com)
• What date you would like the migration done (Monday through Friday). If you don't require a specific date, we will do it as soon as possible, typically within 1-2 business days.

Important Information about the Migration

The migration is based on ClearWiki's backup file and only contains the information available in that file. Specifically, it includes:

• All page content, formatting and links
• All attachments
• All comments with post date and user name

Information not in the backup file includes your list of users, version histories, labels/tags, and security settings. If your site should be password protected, use the Settings → Security → Site Security screen in EditMe to require a login for viewing your EditMe site prior to requesting migration.

The $20 migration fee includes a single migration. If you wish to migrate your site, test it, and then migrate it again at a later date, an additional fee will apply with each subsequent migration. We recommend you cancel your EditMe free trial and create a new, empty EditMe site for each migration.
