Tips & Tricks: New Screencasts
Tuesday, December 30, 2008
I got my hands on Camtasia Studio recently and have started recording replacements for the aging Flash demo/training videos. Though less Flashy (pun intended), these screencasts are created in minutes instead of days, which will allow me to create a steady stream of them over the next year. The first two I've released include a quick 4 minute demo (mostly for prospective customers) and a replacement of the Basic Content Management with EditMe training video. My goal is to release new videos frequently on various topics covering the breadth of EditMe's features. So keep your eye on this blog (or Twitter) for more!
I will also be making these videos available through a YouTube channel, though YouTube compresses them so much that it can be hard to read the text on the screen. Watch the videos on this site to get the highest quality. Currently they're available from the Demo page on this site. I'll be adding a section to highlight these at the wiki soon.
