Features: Editing

Each EditMe site is a powerful content management system that allows administrators (and optionally end users) to manage the site's content with ease right from their web browser.

• An in-browser WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor allows simple editing of every page. It's a lot like using a familiar Word Processing application.
• Editing features include Style, Cut, Copy, Paste, Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Superscript, Subscript, Alignment, Numbering, Bulleting, Indenting, Text Color, Background Color, Horizontal Rule, Link, Images, Tables, and more.
• EditMe's editor supports Internet Explorer for Windows (5.5+) and Mozilla/Firefox on all platforms.
• Optionally modify HTML source code of individual pages  to achieve any complexity of formatting required.
• Creating new pages is easy. Just click "New" in the Page section of your site's Tools menu, which is visible on every page.
• Easy Page URLs - All pages can be accessed using http://[YourAccountName].editme.com/[PageName].

Attachments provide storage and management of assets that don't fit into a web page.

• Each page can have unlimited attachments uploaded. You're only limited by the disk space allocated by your chosen Plan.
• Insert attached images or link to attached documents of any kind into page content by selecting an attachment from the list.
• Attachments can be conveniently listed in a table below page content. 
• Each attachment can be given a descriptive label.
• Upload a file over and over; EditMe keeps a list of versions and provides ability to go back and view previously uploaded versions.

Administrators have complete control over their site's look and feel.

• Several "Skins" provide ready-to-use templates for your site. Administrators can change the site's skin with a single click.
• Stylesheet editing allows advanced users to customize their site's Cascading Style Sheet (CSS).
• Layout editing allows advanced users to customize their layout using server-side JavaScript, providing *complete* control over the site's layout, function and design.
• Page Templates provide an easy way to populate new pages with reusable template content.
• JavaScript can be used to extend the functionality of your site, and is limited to Administrators only.

Once you've created them, your pages are easily found by site visitors.

• A special Menu section of your site displays the contents of the Menu page on every page. This make it easy to manage navigation - it's just like editing any other page.
• Every site comes with built-in Site Search that provides contextual excerpts from matched page content.
• An always up-to-date Index page lists all the pages of your site in alphabetic order, grouped by first letter.
